Freedom or Control?

Wednesday, April 28th 2010 @ 7:47 AM (not yet rated)    post viewed 736 times

Over the last decade, we in New Zealand have been involved in an ongoing battle with Australian Authorities in how we self govern our natural medicines regime in this country.

We thought that this battle for independence had been won.

Unknown to most New Zealanders, some unidentified entity within the NZ government signed a document that basically stated that we had to align to Australian health protocols, which in the most simplest of language, would cut out manufacturing and supplying many natural health supplements here in this country and selling them to NZers.

This can be perceived as one example of control by big pharmaceutical corporations to squeeze out independent private entrepreneurs and operators who are perceived as potent competitors to the large drug companies, because their products work and are taken from the natural world, many of them following traditions that are hundreds of years old, many not being able to be patented.

Today bureaucratic insiders in the NZ Health Department are again resurrecting the old regime and are again doing their best to change the rules and jam new regulations that will stifle the flow of vitamins, as one example and will place huge regulatory costs on the little guy so as to squeeze them out of the market.

Health Freedom NZ believes that unelected officials in the bureaucracy of the Government’s Health Department have drafted a document that contradicts many of the principles given to them by elected officials or by our MP’s.

It clearly states that anything that has a therapeutic affect will have to be registered as a medicine through MEDSAFE and the definition of medicine is, essentially a toxic pharmaceutical drug.

In other words there are no safe medicines, there are only toxic ones.

And the question I want ask here, “are you as listeners/readers losing faith in our medical bureaucracy?”

Should there not be 100% transparency in how our tax dollars are used to the extent, that we need to put faces and names of who is actually ramming this policy through, when to all extents and purposes, they should be working towards the greater good of what is natural and proven over long periods of time, instead of approving of chemical concoctions produced by big pharmaceutical corporations, who 10 years ago, had no idea what they would prepare, or even manufacture these drugs that they are wanting to flood the market with.

This is an on going battle and time is running out.  No extensions have been granted.

Please go to www.HealthFreedom.co.nz and quickly learn how to write up a submission, we only have till the 17th of May to do this. No extensions have been granted.

What’s it to be … Freedom or Control?

National Day of Action Against the NZ Governments Search and Surveillance Bill

Wednesday, April 21st 2010 @ 10:57 AM (not yet rated)    post viewed 589 times

At present here in our country New Zealand, the Search and Surveillance Bill is currently being debated by Parliament, and is seen as a massive threat to civil liberties in New Zealand.

It grants the Police and other state agencies vast new powers to monitor, search and detain individuals for minor and nonexistent infringements.

The Bill effectively removes the right to silence by allowing the Police to force people to answer questions and produce evidence-using provisions known as examination orders and production orders.

It also allows for warrant-less searches in some circumstances and for video surveillance devices to be installed in private homes, using only the same burden of evidence currently required by the courts for granting Police a warrant for a one-off search.

This Bill enhances state powers and fundamentally alters some core concepts in law to such a degree that even the Law Society and the Chief Justice have serious criticism of it.

This is not the NZ that we were born into, NZ as a small isolated country has played and continues to play its part as ethically as possible to be a worthy global example of justice, peace and goodwill.

Has this hyped up Search and Surveillance Bill been foisted on this country by outside interests? Especially as we have had no acts of terrorism in this country since the French Govt bombed and sank the Greenpeace boat Rainbow Warrior 25 years ago.

Note, that in today's world when you give away our freedoms, they are never ever voluntarily returned back to us.

In this day and age where the agenda is to keep the rhetoric of fear and apprehension uppermost in the public consciousness, (see TV news as an example or the recent pages in the NZ Herald) people are asking the question ...  are we being manipulated to give our power away from "we the people" to another more ominous agenda?

So regrettably we have to come out of our homes and join as one movement to show our elected servants in Wellington that "we the people" do not countenance such behavior of jamming this bill through, particularly as there is no evidence whatsoever in this country, for such a need!

Saturday 24 April is a national day of protest action against the Bill. Defend your freedom: Join the protest to demonstrate your distrust for such legislation.

This is a very sad indictment on NZ especially when we need leadership by our civic leaders as well as any one of any standing in the "corporate" arena to make their voices heard.

It makes you want to connect the dots ... as to why here ... and why now ... ?

DEMOCRACY in NZ

Wednesday, April 14th 2010 @ 7:44 AM (not yet rated)    post viewed 608 times

New Zealand prides itself in being the 1st country on earth to enable indigenous peoples to vote in elections, males obtaining this in 1867 and NZ was also the first country to allow women to take the initiative and claim their right to vote as well, in 1893.

And so we in this country are proud of our democratic heritage and in many ways can be seen as the oldest democracy on earth.

Now note that the opposite is happening and we are now giving away democracy and we NZers especially Joe Sixpack are allowing it, without caring or even wanting to know anything about it!

Imagine to my horror seeing the courageous and passionate Green member of Parliament, Sue Kedgely standing up in parliament stating that there has been a coup detat in this country that has been sponsored by the National Party of NZ, the government of the day with its cohort the ACT party and that it had been specifically approved by the NZ Prime Minister John Key.

This is in relation to a Government Bill that is being rushed through Parliament to sack the democratically elected Canterbury Regional Council, that governs water rights to the Canterbury region. She also stated that this follows closely behind the governments decision to undemocratically dissolve 4 democratically elected councils in the Auckland region and make them into one, overriding both democratic and ethical considerations and running this process in the interim with unelected appointees.

This to NZers is not what 100s of thousands of NZ men in two world wars and other smaller wars went overseas to defend.

We are a country of free people who believe in the power of the ballot box and this is being taken away from us with virtually not even a murmur… Why are we silent about this?

Look carefully at this VIDEO on the Green party website and you will learn a great deal about parliament and the emptiness of what is happening.

How many politicians have stated that there is a "coup-detat" happening in NZ before?
